SAFEGUARDING ADULTS LINE – AskSAL
Help us to keep adults safe across Essex. The AskSAL helpline is available for anyone who is concerned that a vulnerable adult may be at risk of harm or abuse. ‘SAL’ stands for Safeguarding Adults Line.
You can call the line for anything from straightforward information and advice about the abuse and the safety of the more vulnerable adults in Essex; to the disclosure of a specific concern about your own safety or somebody that you know. Should you wish to report maltreatment of an adult in Essex we will take your concern seriously and ensure that it is investigated appropriately.
Remember, ignoring abuse is not an option – Any person with knowledge of, or suspicion that a vulnerable adult may be at risk of abuse or is being abused must report their concerns.
Call today on 08452 66 66 63.
If you would like to receive the Ask SAL number in a text message, text ASKSAL to 60777 or look on our website at www.asksal.org.uk.
The Ask SAL helpline is a partnership project between the Southend, Essex and Thurrock Safeguarding Adults Boards and Essex County Council.
