WE WANT TO LISTEN TO YOUR VOICE – UNPAID CARER FAMILIES
WE ARE NOT AN ORGANISATION JUST SAYING WE ARE LISTENING TO YOU, WE ARE.
AND WE ARE USING THAT INFORMATION TO TAKE ACTION TO DRIVE FORWARD CHANGE.
WE ARE ONE OF ‘YOU’ – A FORMER CARER FAMILY!
We want to harness the might of the collective public voice. Raising awareness of the care the vulnerable elderly are receiving in Essex. Please forward your stories about the care vulnerable elderly people receive in Essex – good and bad so others can benefit and be supported by sharing these experiences. From poor experiences and through fire-fighting for information that unpaid carer families many times find themselves having to do, gems of information can be unearthed, information that can empower you and help to make a more positive care journey for your loved one. We believe raising awareness will result in working together to achieve improvements in the care the vulnerable elderly receive.
We will use the data from your shared stories/experiences to raise awareness and effect positive change with authorities and organisations where we can and where they are working with us to take this feedback. We will collate this information into themed areas that are being flagged up triggering investigation and possibly requiring improvement and ask authorities/organisations to report back to us changes that they are making. We do not forget the highlighting of areas of good practice of course. We all need to learn from each other to make things better for the vulnerable elderly.
Don’t worry! The stories/experiences do not have to be blow-by-blow accounts or be perfect recollections, just as you would tell us if you were talking with us, which you are doing, thank you!, when we are standing in shopping centres and High Streets with our care stand in Essex. And can be anonymous. Or published with your first name and town where you live if you wish.
We are passionate about vulnerable elderly people’s care in the Essex area. We wish our website to be responsive to local communities’ expressed needs, harnessing the voices of the unheard. The people that don’t traditionally come forward. We are utterly independent. You can trust us to give us your story. All stories are moderated by WhereIsTheCare.
Stories are accepted by completing the submission form via the WhereIsTheCare.co.uk website here.
If there is someone you know that would like to submit their story but does not have access to the internet they can write to us at:Where Is The Care ?
